Morinaga turned to supplier Tokyo Automatic Machinery (TAM) Works, Ltd. to add Zip-Pak’s unique press-to-close zipper technology to their TWEX vertical form/fill/seal (V/F/F/S) machines. The result… Morinaga satisfied its customers’ needs with a pillow pouch that’s easy to seal and includes attention-grabbing graphics.
Adapting Zip-Pak’s high quality press-to-close zippers to TAM’s TWEX machines instead of sourcing pre-made bags will yield up to 20% long term material costs savings for Morinaga.
